This project included a U.S. Courtroom for use by the Bankruptcy Court as well as the Appeals
Court. It included Judge’s chambers and offices for the Clerk of the Court. It included offices
and facilities for the U.S. Marshall Service, and it also included upgrades of the existing office
building to meet as closely as possible, the U.S. Courts Design Guide, USMS Publication 64
and P-100, including redundant mechanical system, secure entry and bullet-proof glazing. The
total area of the project was 12,921sf. Richard McElhiney Architects provided architectural
design consulting services and were Architects for the construction phase.
