Johnson Museum of Art Cornell University Ithaca, NY
The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University designed by I.M. Pei opened in 1973. The Museum’s permanent collection numbers more than 35,000 works, spanning six millennia and encompassing art from most world cultures. More than 80,000 visitors come to the Museum each year.
The project includes the replacement of roofs and replacement of the failing roof storm drain infrastructure. It includes the rehabilitation of skylights and the repair of spalled concrete. Various interior spaces affected by these systems– including offices, galleries, and art storage areas– will be restored.
