Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration is regarded as the world leader in its field. The Statler Hotel, adjacent to the School, provides its students with the place to develop and hone their management skills. Established in 1950, The Statler Hotel is an award-winning, full-service luxury hotel. The 153-room property includes the J. Willard Marriott Executive
Education Center, three restaurants, and more than 14,000 square feet of meeting and
banquet facilities.

The Study’s recommendations for The Statler Hotel include the creation of a welcoming entry drive and porte-cochere, the introduction of daylight to the Lobby by means of windows and new signage, the replacement of all finishes, and a new reception area. They also include two new bars, a fireplace, and an expansion of the Regent Lounge onto the adjacent terrace.
